The Greencouch Sessions were partially inspired by the amazing Take Away Show series who made me fall madly in love with Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros. [side note, they are currently on the very unique outdoor Railroad Revival Tour with the truly phenomenal Mumford and Son's AND Old Crow Medicine show] For me there’s something about fresh air and music that tends to equal magic! Coming across and being able to share such lovely videos, moments and sites like these is the number one reason I love the internet! For the most part about 95% of TV just numbs my brain and makes me lethargic. Online I find inspiration, motivation and share in moments of joy with strangers around the world. It’s beautiful. The final event is held in Bercy with over 140 dancers who compete before an international jury of 13,000 people who come to the event and 45,000 spectators worldwide. Dancers are selected after a 2month international tour. The six major disciplines include: Locking, Popping, Hip Hop New Style, House, Experimental Rock and Top.
