A new way of seeing things can also include a new way of seeing yourself.   We’ll just say lately I’ve been adjusting to being aware of the self that I see, that I am, that I have become and that I wish to be.  Some serious growing pains while learning there is no perfect answer or way to anything and change is the only constant.  I’m doing my best to embrace and accept that change is ALWAYS hard … but … BETTER, STRONGER, HAPPIER … ALWAYS COMES!

There is a true beauty in the breakdown and 8 years later the Frou Frou album … well, I’m not even sure how to put such a thing into words. As much as I looked to it as a soundtrack, answer and support for my life 8 years ago in this moment it feels it’s truest with a calming full circle. I look back to the girl I was listening to it at 21, I wish I could reach back in time and give ‘her’ a hug and wink. Say something like, “don’t worry it’s all gonna work out even when it seems like it’s not, but hold on tight dear cause you’re in for one hell of a ride!”

So, it’s learning to love, accept and share all parts of the ride … that is my journey and REME is my journal.
