I will survive

I worked at a motorcycle festival a few months back here in Asheville.   Little did I know at the time that the group I was working with were about to become great friends.   Miss Kayla in particular has become a truly dear friend here in Asheville who’s incredibly fun and has been there for me A TON during this particularly eventful time in my life!  Cesar, Miguel and Mike were our “bosses” for the 4 days … they all live in Los Angeles and travel to motorcycle festivals around the country.  To say they are all talented and acclaimed would be the understatement of the century, go ahead click on there names … you’ll see.

Check out Miguel in action below … *note ahead of time if you are religious and easily offended you should not press play. If you can laugh, if you want a great laugh you should press play.

They recently swooped in for a 12hr visit in the middle of an 18 hour drive to their next festival.   There was dinner, music, singing, dancing, truly amazing conversation, laughter, a conga line?!, the birth of a “church“, espresso at midnight, a large amount of wine and a hot tub til sunrise.  So, YES the best dinner / slumber party ever!   well, except we all had to wake up early the next day … so that part sucked … wouldn’t trade it for the world though!

Yes, there were 5 of us and that is enough food for at least 10.

I have really found it rare in life to meet great friends or people.  However, these past 7 months I have had the honor of meeting and getting to know a whole lot of amazing, thoughtful, kind and insanely talented people (including these 4!).  Great friends and people have a way of bringing joy, love and exciting energy into your life.

New Office Perks

Moving into an office definetly helps you stay focused on the task at hand.  That is until a French wine importer moves in across the hall.  We found this treat in our shared office kitchen space with a note to enjoy.  Late night at the office is way more fun with a wine tasting intermission, even if I didn’t actually like any of them.
